Top ten reasons Alex Rodriguez should never be a Red Sox

10- He wants 30-35 million a year. He is currently 32 years old. When his contract ends he will be 42 years old. My guess he will retire before he turns 40 and still will be collecting the Red Sox money sitting on his butt.

9- He was a Yankee. So logical it makes me laugh.lol

8- He is a cheater. Calling mine during the middle of a Blue Jays game so two players would stop trying to catch the ball. KNOCKING the ball out of Bronson Arroyo’s hand during the ALCS in 2004 etc…

7- His post season stats. Do we really need a man making 35 million dollars a year that can’t bring anyone home when we need him the most?

6- He couldn’t make it in New York. He couldn’t handle the pressure. What makes you think he can handle us Red Sox fans? We are nicer then Yankee fans but we are also smarter then them too. A-Rod can’t handle whatever amazing and clever chant we come up with to mock him when he doesn’t hit and we won’t need a guy banging out a beat to get those chants started either. We do that all on our own:) (best chant ever, Who’s you dealer)

5- He is a cancer. No one likes A-Rod. He is so arrogant that is only friend in NY was Johnny freaking Damon. Do I need to explain more?

4- Because I hate him. That’s right. The second he tried to knock the ball out of Bronson Arroyo’s hand in the 2004 ALCS he was public enemy number one. Just remember the umpire very well could have not called his play dirty which means 2004 never would have happened. A-Fraud would have been the reason.

3- Jason Varitek. Remember the fight game? Remember A-Rod being so desperate to be considered a Yankee that he tried going after sweet, never hurt a fly Bronson Arroyo. He was so ready to beat 110 pound when soaking wet Bronson into the ground until our catcher blocked his way.

2- Did I mention he was a Yankee? I guess I did which means I need to come up with a better number 2 answer.

and the Number 1 reason is….

We won two World Series in the last four years without having a prima donna, spoiled troll playing SS or third base for our team. We don’t need him. Even if we don’t sign Mike Lowell there has to be a better option for 3rd base. Maybe not stat wise but character wise.

Thanks for your comment, I find sick pleasure in the fact that they were 2nd choice too. You hit the nail on the head man, fuck A-Rod. He’s a money chasing, play-off choking whore.

  3. Totally agree. Looks like they are going to sign Lowell after all. A-rod is such a waste of money. It’s all about pitching, pitching, pitching.

    Excellent. ‘Nuff said.

Totally agree. And plus, we don’t even need to sign a third baseman. We could sign a guy to play first and ‘Youk can play third. There. Problem solved.

I would hate to take Kevin off first base when he just had an error less season.

An average of a 154 OPS+ as a Yankee is not making it in New York? Interesting…

How many world series rings does he have again? Before he got a few hits in the last playoff game vs the Indians what was his hitting average and rbi total?
Face it he was a failure in NY because he didn’t win a title and you know what A-Rod says “Anyone can win a ring in NY” except him of course.
Regardless I do not want the cancer on my team and neither do 99% of the people on this planet.
I wish all the A-Rod butt kissers would take him because he is not wanted in Boston by almost every single fan of the BOSTON Red Sox.

Sometimes you need to not sell your soul to the devil and I pray Theo is listening to the fans that don’t want him here.
