More backtracking and stupidity from Steve Pagliuca

When Steve Pagliuca was asked if her agreed with a draft to send our kids over seas to die his answer was yes. Then a few hours later he back tracked faster then Danny Ainge bad mouthing an ex Celtic player he just brought back after insisting the kid was a cancer.

Either way this guy is to stupid to be part of the Senate. He either wants to force our kids to fight in a war or he is so stupid he couldn’t understand a simple question. Either way he does not belong in a Senate Seat.

The Boston media gets dumber and dumber every year. They are bragging about the Yankees winning. I would be boycotting the Herald and Globe if I already didn’t already NOT buy their tabloid garbage of a newspaper.

So my friends husband is a Yankee fan and of course he came in today bragging like he actually contributed to them winning. So he ran his mouth for a few minutes and I told him they bought the world series.

He started to argue with me about how they didn’t buy the title. I pointed out the half a billion dollar pay roll on 3 players. (He said they didn’t do much to help the team win) I of course said it was a 3 man rotation and two of the guys they bought were in it and the third guy was just re-signed and bought this year (Andy “admitted cheater” Pettite)

I then pointed out how the Yankees are the only team in MLB with a player having a 100 million dollar contract contract (they actually have 4 players over that amount) Then there was the Yankees adding an extra 20 million to get CC Sabathia when they weren’t bidding against anyone else.

After he listened to me for a few minutes totally shut him up he changed his tune and told me that every team buy’s their titles. I felt like saying so which is it? He he buy it or not (he gave me both opinions) but I didn’t.

I just love shutting up men on sports.lol I read a lot and I remember useless information.lol

Daisuke Matsuzaka should have never been allowed to play in the World baseball Classic but YOU let him. His problems all came from that and you let him play. Him wanting to play for his Country is understandable.

Daisuke Matsuzaka had 3 great games to end the season and you chose to stick in Clay the kid instead of Daisuke NOT Daisuke.

1- Make Bard the closer. Groom him. I don’t care what you do but make number 2 happen

2- Trade Papelbon. He is overrated. He isn’t worth the 15 plus million he thinks he deserves. The time to trade him is now so we can get some damn hitting. He did not give the effort this year he has in the past because he is more concerned about saving his arm for his big payday then earning the current 6 million he is getting paid.

3- Goodbye Jason Bay. This isn’t little league. Learn your job. Thanks for showing up the first half of the season but we will save the 15 million the Yankees will pay you and spend it on real hitting’

4- Re-sign Victor Martinez. The kid has tried to do his job but he got no help

5- Send Ramirez and Saito to play in Syberia. They have no place in MLB baseball

6- I love you David Ortiz. I love you to death. I will always love you, defend you and be the first person signing the petition to have your number retired but I think you are done.

7- HITTING! Actual clutch hitting besides JD Drew.

8-Let Jed Lowrie be the SS. If you can sign Alez Gonzalez for very little money and let them platoon so be it but we need this kid to get healthy.

I came to my blog to write a OMG we lost to a no name loser post but I couldn’t even write it. I tried. I mean John Lackey? we lost to John Lackey? Who the hell is John Lackey. NEVER in the CY Young award tally (that I can remember) Just another no name number one starter starting number one because the rest of the team isn’t any better right? Well that might be right any other time of the year but it wasn’t right last night.

John Lackey was amazing and he out shined John Lester who also had a great game. Just not a great enough game.

No other team has a tough time winning close games like the Sox. As soon as I saw it was a pitching dual I knew we would lose. Our bats suck and they have since 07. The difference between now and 07 is other teams got better and we didn’t. Bay is great but he isn’t Manny on steroids. I love Victor Martinez but he isn’t A-Rod.

Just face the facts people the Yankees are going to win it all. Their 200 billion dollar Jaunary may have overrated pitching and the biggest choke job in history but it just can’t be beat this year and the easy route they will have to the World series vs the Twins and Angels just borders ridiculous. Has anyone ever had an easier route to October (or November this year)?

Info to myself. You should have known this would end badly when you won the right to buy ALCS tickets. Then your sister won the right also and you had games 4 and 5.

Know all that complaining I did about not wanting to go to the Red Sox game? Well not only did I go but I went the next night also. That’s right I complained and then supported them anyway.lol Aww the life of Red Sox Nation.

The first night sucked especially because of the rain that forced them to cancel a game where it was NOT RAINING! It was raining for about 20 minutes then drizzled another ten and then it stopped raining and they cancelled the game anyway. It didn’t start raining for another hour.

As soon as we had two guys on base (Second and Third) and got an RBI the rain came down. It was like the people in charge above didn’t want us to win and were going to make sure we didn’t.

The second game sucked even more because after coming up with 6 runs Francona leaves Casey Kotchmen in to hit instead of bringing in a pinch hitter (hello Mike Lowell!!!!!!!!) but the next inning he takes out Alex Gonzlez and uses a kid to pinch hit (Josh Reddick) I get the whole righty vs lefty thing but Kotchman had done nothing all night.

What the hell is up with Toronto anyway? Their closer acted like he won the world series after striking out Kevin Youkilis (on a low inside pitch that was not a strike) in the ninth last night? Last time I checked the Red Sox players didn’t scream got it ala A-Fraud so I am not sure why they are so happy they beat us. For years they have owned us. The one year we beat them they go all Yankee on us and act like it makes a difference just because they won a game. Made no sense to me. They lie down and die for NY but us they play like the last game of a World series.lol

Let me tell you the talk of the game on my way out of Fenway centered on David Ortiz walking to first instead of running. The second baseman bobbled the ball and Ortiz would have been safe at first if he had just run. Everyone was complaining about that on my way out of Fenway. I am not one to criticize Ortiz usually but that was pathetic and it probably cost us that game. We would have had guys on first and third with one out instead of a guy on third with two outs.

I have no hope for this post season. The Sox are injured and tired and now even Ortiz isn’t giving an effort. Doesn’t bode well for us in a week. To top that off the only other team I like (Detroit) is about to blow the division to Minny and that pretty much gives the Yankees a free pass to the ALCS.

Thanks Angels for helping us win the Wild Card. Apparently we could not do it on our own. Anyone else get the impression the Angels want to play us? They have revenge on their minds.

Only 5.5 games from the division you had a chance to come into NY and make a statement. Instead you quit. You didn’t even bother to show up? Do you have any heart at all?

I am not talking about the starting pitching. You guy’s get a free pass. Daisuke Matsuzaka and especially Paul Byrd you did your job. As a fifth starter Byrd only gave up 2 runs on his own (the other two should be blamed on Rameriz the new Rudy Seanez) Dice was amazing except for one pitch. I am not even blaming Jon Lester (who can’t be perfect all the time) but the rest of you should be ashamed of yourselves.

David Ortiz aside the rest of you didn’t even give an effort. You didn’t and still don’t care about the division and I even get that a little (It’s better to be prepared for the post season then hope you can make up 5.5 games with 11 games left) but last time I checked YOU HAVE NOT MADE THE POST SEASON YET. You haven’t clinched anything and in case you have forgotten just a few years ago the Colorado Rockies made up a zillion games by not losing a single game in like a month.

You played dead and you let the Yankees celebrate in your face and I am sure all the excuses will started with “We can’t win them all.” Well you might not be able to win them all but you could at least act like you give a damn.

I have one game left in the season and I don’t even want to go. If I thought anyone would buy these tickets I would sell them in a heart beat. Call me a fair weather fan. Call me no fan at all and I just don’t care. AT this point I think you should just forfeit and give the Wild Card to the Texas Rangers. They might not beat the Angels but they will at least give an effort.

I’ll be at tomorrow nights game because wasting 50 bucks out of anger doesn’t do me any good but the whole time I am there I will be thinking about the Wild Card I could have celebrated with you because unlike you I actually care. I leave this blog with my Pride in tact. Did you leave NY with yours?

Here is an Ortiz homerun. Watch the guy in the blue shirt right where the ball lands. I might actually believe this was genuine if I didn’t see the empty stadium on multiple occasions in KC. I doubt this guy ever went to a game wearing a baby blue KC shirt if the Sox or Yankees weren’t playing.

Oh and just because I can here is the obligatory idiot New Yorker posing as a Yankee fan celebrating the homerun by Papi. LMAO why does a Yankee fan show up at a Red Sox / KC game wearing a Yankee shirt? Reminds me of this fat slob that sat in front of me the other night at my Sox game wearing his Yankee hat cheering for Angels. He left in the 6th inning. Loser

Here is another video. That pitch was very close to Lowell’s head. I don’t care if the pitcher sucks and can only throw 60 miles an hour. You almost hit someone in the head twice. If it wasn’t for SLowell moving out of the way you would have hit him IN THE HEAD. After what the umpires went through being attacked by the childish KC fans and players I don’t blame them for acting that way. I hate the Yankees but you would never see their players acting like this. The Red Sox don’t do it either (Youkilis aside and this was after he was hit for the 13th time)

Steve Pagliuca one of the co-owners of the Boston Celtics is trying to buy the Congress seat left vacant by the late Edward M. Kennedy.

Do Massachusetts a favor and do not vote for this two faced liar.

I have been following this man since he came to town. Where he has lied, cheated and allowed his GM to make things up and be printed in the Boston Heralds and Boston Globe’s with no regard to the truth.

Remember when he and co-owner went to Vin Baker’s house in the middle of the night and forced him to sign a paper giving up his rights to being an NBA basketball player? It was against the rules of the NBA which is why this paper was later voided. Steve Pagliuca and Wyc Grousbeck went to Vin Baker’s house without him having a lawyer present and they tried to emotionally black mail a man who is an alcoholic into signing away his right to play the sport and his money.

He allow’s his Head of basketball operations (Danny Ainge) to blatantly lie to the media without any regard to the facts or the truth. He condoned this behavior.

This man is out to buy your vote. He hasn’t worked a day in his life and he is a rich dictator used to getting what he wants because he has some money.

He bought the Celtics without any regard to the fans of Massachusetts. He tried to buy the Boston Globe and now he is trying to buy your vote. Please do not vote this liar into office. The last thing the state of Massachusetts needs is another rich wanna be buying a seat to the Senate.

Here is more proof of what a liar he is. In this interview he says he bought the Celtics as a labor of money and wasn’t in it to make money yet the Celtics have some of the highest seat prices in the NBA and they raise these ticket prices every year including a year where they lost 18 games in a row. The last two years they also refused to get any bench help because it would have brought their team into the luxary tax and they didn’t want to pay that (For those not familiar with the NBA the luxary tax is something a team has to pay if they are over the cap. They have to pay dollar for dollar to the league as a sort of penalty. Meaning if you are ten million over the cap you have to pay the NBA ten million)

Wanna read about the company Pagliuca helped found then go here where you can find out he doesn’t give a damn about keeping jobs in America. He has multiple deals with the Chinese. ANY job that goes out of the US is why we are in debt right now

Steve Pagliuca also doesn’t care if the players on his NBA team throw gang signals at kids on apposing teams like Paul Pierce did two years ago. The Celtics were being out played by a kid on the Atlanta Hawks and Paul Pierce showed a gang sign to scare the kid. Steve Pagliuca supported him and made excuses for what his employee did. So much for caring about our youth.

Steve Pagliuca also doesn’t care if his NBA players are committing crimes like Tony Allen. As long as they play basketball well enough he doesn’t care if his employee’s tell people to shoot other people which is what Tony Allen allegedly did in 2007. Allen might have been found not guilty but his record of getting in trouble should not be supported by someone running our state.
