Opening Day here I freaking come
Ok I know its been awhile and I know I titled another blog the same as this one but I am so freaking happy I don’t care.
Who wants to laugh at my life now? Oh sure you will think I am lucky but it isn’t luck. It’s the world messing with my band account.
Here is goes. A few weeks ago I bought tickets from one of those agency to the Red Sox home opener. I had to be there to see the rings. So I bought the tickets. Paid 250.00 for one. So what happens two days after I do this? I get an e-mail from red sox.com telling me I have been selected to buy tickets for opening day or a Yankee games. Just my luck Wait until after I pay 250 bucks to put me in the virtual waiting room. So I got the tickets anyway and my sister and her husband are going for 50 bucks while I had to pay 250. Ah sigh.
I also got Yankee tickets for July.
Anyway that is it. I will be there when the gates open. Hope to see you there.
Go Red Sox. You owe me a win with the lack of money in my bank account comprende?

FDA,
I thought of this post today and had to laugh.
For my birthday (May 23rd, your birthday wishes were early, but much welcome!), I kicked down 195.00 for 2 tickets on vistor’s side in Oakland. They are good (20 rows off field).
Then, I go to a meeting on Thursday, a guy finds out I am an ardent Sox fan, tells me finds Sox fans obnxious. I tell him I appreciate Oakland As (they do so much with such a small budget). He warms up a bit.
This morning in my inbox? An email from him— kicking down his company’s tickets (which are on vistor’s side, closer to first) for May 24th and May 25th!!!! He said he also had May 23rd tickets but knew I already had those.
Grrrrr.
Awesome.
Grrrr…
And so, I will be extending my birthday and seeing the boys three days in a row. That will be BLISS….
