Now that the Red Sox season is over what am I supposed to do with myself.? I could watch the Patriots I suppose but one game a week only fills up one day a week. I could watch the Bruins I guess. I could jump on the band wagon of Danny “freaking” Ainge but no way will I EVER sell my soul and do that. There is BC football.? Gymnastics isn’t that far away. Figure Skating has started but to me watching that without Michelle Kwan is like watching paint dry. Hey maybe I can do that.? Is anyone painting a house.?
David Ortiz by the way will be on Regis and Kelly tomorrow morning. It is also rumored he might be making the rounds in NY so check for ESPN news or the shows on ESPN 2 during the day. Tomorrow night Manny will be on Jay Leno and David Ortiz will be on Conan O’Brien. I can’t wait to see Manny on Leno. That should be hilarious.
There is a free preview of NBA-TV for the next week so if you have cable make sure you check that out.

Call me crazy, but what if the C’s do well this year (I know it’s a strech, as I hat Ainge, also)? Will you then forgive him, because I know I would. And plus, you can still root for the Celtics like me, even if you hate the GM.

ppierce,
Ainge will never be forgiven. It is as simple as respect. He doesn’t deserve mine. As far as I am concerned the way he treats ex players or player he doesn’t like is the most obnoxious thing I have ever seen a person do. He doesn’t deserve me being a fan
and he will never get my money. If winning was all that mattered then I would have jumped on the band wagon the second he got Garnett but I refuse to root for a team where not a single person in the entire organization has an ounce of integrity.
I just can’t do it.

No problem man, you have your reasons and standing by them has to be respected.
I just hope you do get some joy out of this upcoming NBA season for whatever reason. And while I’m HOPING it would be from their future success, they could very well self-destruct or an injury throws everything on its head.
Everyone should realize that we’ll have to see, through time, whether we should ever get close to naming them any sort of nickname (only deserved when you WIN!).

FDA,
I’m in the same boat… no baseball, hmmm, now what? I’ve been doing a lot of knitting and then there’s always the mayhem and madness that comes with owning an older home.
Want to paint a house? I could use an extra pair of hands. I’ve convinced myself that I’m a finishing carpenter and began to install picture railing and crown molding…
hahaha. Baseball season seems really really far away… JIG

Hey buddy, long time no talk.
Can’t complain about the C’s after that domination of the Wizards. Not that I expect you to forgive ol’ Danny, but y’know…
I have a Pats blog going if you want to check it out:

Hope to see you around, and go C’s, B’s, & P’s!

Haha, yeah. It was still nice to hear the fans letting Arenas know who’s boss now, and it was great OT victory in Toronto.
